Professional Bio

Manuel “Maynard” Leon is Vice President of Business Development at Alivi. In this capacity, he is responsible for strategic growth, long-term, and short-term revenue generation. He develops and maintains strong relationships with senior leadership from Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Health Plans.

An accomplished executive, Mr. Leon is relentless about developing state-of-the-art ways of exceeding revenue goals. He has a proven track record of generating bottom-line value in the most challenging situations.

In 2014, he joined CVS Health as Senior Director where he led a multi-million dollar business unit. He was in charge of Over-The-Counter (OTC) Health Solutions with full Profit & Loss responsibilities overseeing several departments. Mr. Leon was directly responsible for new business development and account management.

Before that, Mr. Leon served as Vice President of Ancillary Business Units at Navarro Discount Pharmacies. He was accountable for several operating subsidiaries including OTC Health Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Navarro Discount Pharmacy, which partnered with health plans and employee groups to fulfill and distribute OTC benefits nationwide.

He is bilingual and was recently appointed to the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Accreditation Commission (NEMTAC) Advisory Board where together with the Board of Directors and other participants will develop the nation's first set of NEMT national standards, create the NEMTAC accreditation program and implement the Certified Transport (CTS) certification program.

Mr. Leon began his undergraduate studies at Baylor University before transferring to Florida International University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and International Business and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A).
