Magdiel Rodriguez is the Chief Executive Officer of Alivi. In this capacity he is responsible for creating, planning, implementing, and integrating the strategic direction of the company. He also ensures that the leadership team maintains constant awareness of expansion opportunities, competitors, customer base, markets, new industry development, and standards.
Mr. Rodriguez has over 25 years of experience in the areas of Information Security, Enterprise Risk Management and Compliance, Information Technology and Operations. He has extensive experience and has been accountable for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision; strategy and program to ensure information technologies are properly managed and protected. This includes cyber security, third party vendor security, PCI compliance, data security, risk assessment and compliance with polices.
Prior to Alivi, Mr. Rodriguez served as Chief Information Officer for iCare Health Solutions, a Florida industry leader, which posses the insights and technical innovation to influence a health plan’s ability to improve vision-related outcomes.
Before that, Mr. Rodriguez was Vice President and Regional Corporate Security Officer at MasterCard Worldwide and Senior Business Leader of Information Security for Visa Inc. where he formed a global multicultural/multilingual organization in some of the world’s most challenging markets. In his 21 years at Visa, Mr. Rodriguez held a variety of positions including, Vice President, Project Manager, and Senior Network Engineer.
Mr. Rodriguez holds several certifications in Risk and Information Systems Controls, General Securities, NASDAQ General Securities, Emerging Technologies/e-commerce, among others. He completed an Executive MBA, certificate program from the University of Maryland and a Management Information Systems certificate program from the Phoenix Metropolitan Institute.
Mr. Rodriguez is multicultural and multilingual and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and has traveled throughout the world working on complex projects and managing day-to-day relationships with business owners and managers. Mr. Rodriguez has over 20 years of international business development experience working in transnational markets.
