Laurie George is the Chief Compliance Officer at Alivi. In this capacity, she is responsible for implementing, promoting and overseeing compliance and ethics for the company.
Mrs. George is an experienced Managed Healthcare professional with more than 10 years of experience. She has extensive experience working with local Medicare and Medicaid health plans as a Contract Manager, Director of Compliance, Compliance Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, where she ensured compliance with federal and state rules and regulations, company policies and established Standards of Conduct.
She is recognized for her ability to build open lines of communication at all levels of an organization and is skilled in driving root-cause evaluation and solutions related to business operations and processes.
Prior to her career in managed health care, Mrs. George worked more than 12 years as a paralegal with a focus on insurance, medical malpractice, and nursing home defense. She is experienced in mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation and successfully served as the lead trial paralegal for multiple jury trial cases within the State of Florida, Mississippi and Pennsylvania.
