Alivi to Participate at the 2021 VentureBeat Transform AI Conference

VentureBeat Transform is the world’s leading annual event on applied Artificial Intelligence for enterprise business and technology decision-makers. Transform 2021 will feature five days of comprehensive AI coverage across industry-focused vertical tracks, including case studies and insights from healthcare, finance, retail, manufacturing and security.

On Wednesday, July 14, at 8:50am PT / 11:50 a.m. ET, Henry Hernandez, Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Director for Alivi, will participate in a fireside chat session at Transform entitled, “From automated Pizza delivery to better health outcomes; the Role of Intelligent Virtual Agents in the New Digital Workforce.”

Henry will discuss how Alivi has deployed their virtual assistant (AVA) to help healthcare organizations schedule rides to and from facilities for patients. He’ll be joined by moderator Callan Schebella, EVP of Product Management at Five9, and panelist Patrick Branley, Director of Technology at Pizza Hut Australia.

Intelligent Virtual Agents empower patients to take control of their healthcare by making it easier for them to access important information and manage their appointments, health records and prescriptions. According to a recent Connected Healthcare Consumer Report by Salesforce, 86% of healthcare consumers find AI somewhat or very promising for appointment booking, and 84% find them promising for health reminders.

Alivi is happy to introduce Ava, Alivi’s Virtual Assistant at VentureBeat. Alivi has deployed Ava in our phone systems IVR to help members activate return rides from their medical appointments. In the next few weeks, Alivi will roll out Appointment Confirmations, Trip Cancellations, and the ability to Schedule New Transportation Requests.

Members have been working directly with Ava to activate return rides for several weeks now with very promising results. The feedback from Alivi's health plan partners have been positive, saying they appreciate the new services and flexibility that Ava and AI provide their members.

Intelligent Virtual Agents allow patients to express their needs in a conversational manner, get answers to commonly asked questions about medical and administrative procedures, make payments, discretely complete screening questionnaires, and be routed to the correct departments quickly and accurately.
